Located in the Gallery 1014 building at 1014 Locust St. in historic downtown St. Louis, MO, this gorgeous building originally opened as a hotel in the exuberant Roaring 20s but by the late 1980’s the building was mostly vacant. But in 2014 extensive restorations began and now Gallery 1401 features beautiful modern luxury apartments and two incredible ballrooms: the Gatsby and Grand Ballrooms that can be used for private events. The Gatsby Ballroom
The iconic Art Deco chandeliers in the Gatsby Ballroom have been painstakingly repaired and restored as have the stately columns in this 3rd floor venue. This venue accommodates up to 250 guests and boasts new state-of-the art sound and lighting systems as well as a large stage and mezzanine balcony. This open ballroom also features a large bar, arched windows, private room, and coat room.
Capacity: 150 guests seated, 250 guests standing
Rental Rates: A 4-hour event in the Gatsby Ballroom only:
$1,500 for Sunday through Thursday, $2,000 for Friday and Saturday.
The Gatsby Room can be rented in combination with the Grand Ballroom:
$2,500 for Sunday through Thursday, $4,000 for Friday and Saturday.

The Grand Ballroom is on the 16th floor at the top of the building. This is an open ballroom unobstructed by columns and can accommodate up to 400 guests. It features stunning arched windows that fill the room with natural light and provides your guests with spectacular views of historic downtown St. Louis. It also features gorgeous wood floors, house sound and mood lighting systems.
Capacity: 300 guests seated, 400 guests, standing
Rental Rates: A 4-hour event in the Grand Ballroom only:
$2,000 on Sunday through Thursdays, $3,500 for Friday and Saturdays.
The Grand Ballroom can be rented in combination with the Gatsby Room:
